Welcome to our early version of Species Research Tool - a lightweight, experimental web app for exploring biodiversity records and spotting patterns.

What you can do here

• Paste an Application Programming Interface (API) link from the NBN Atlas spatial search and fetch records.

• See an Overview of activity by month, taxonomic class, data providers, and more.

• Compare with Birds of Conservation Concern 5 (BoCC)

• View records on an interactive map powered by OpenStreetMap and Leaflet.

 

This is a very early experiment. 

Things will change quickly as we learn what’s useful. If something feels clunky or confusing, that’s exactly the kind of feedback we need.
